My parents keep receiving phone calls from this phone number but no one says name of company.My parents are elderly and have health issues and do not need this to stop as it is very upsetting to my parents.

Received several calls fm 855-507-3376, most recently today @ 12:45pm. No ID just "toll free" on caller ID. As usual, I did not answer, they did not leave a message. How are these companies repeatedly getting away w/ scamming/soliciting to those on DNC?? If its true the recipient of these "855" calls gets charged unknowingly in the process, the phone service provider (i.e. Comcast/Verizon, etc) should be fined since they're not able to prevent these calls and paying customers are being victimized. People are struggling enough w/o dealing w/ this BS!

I cannot believe that you can throw away junk mail, block emails, but still have to get calls from places you don't want to get them from! This place has been calling about every hour, if I answer no one is there....if I don't, they just call again later.

have received 10 phone call from 7:10 PM TO 8.58 PM/. I answer and they hang up.what can be done?

There are legitimate businesses that use toll-free 855 numbers, and they might want to leave a toll-free call back number. (Would you even recognize a wanted and anticipated call from "1-800-FLOWERS" if they had to use a local caller ID number?) If you called a business with a toll-free line and they needed to call you back for some reason, would you recognize the business's local caller ID number if it came up?Yes, I know you can shunt the call to voice mail, and if it is a legitimate business, they will leave a message. But if you answer when you know who is calling you or you are expecting a call, you might just avoid wasting a lot of your time playing telephone tag.If you don't know who it is from, then I agree with you. Don't answer it. But I just think your rule goes a little bit too far.

we get these calls constantly- even though we are on do not call list- they still come- it is nerve racking!!! how do we stop them from calling- can we get a law suite against them? We are sick of all these calls daily- so so many!! they leave no messages if you do not answer it or if u do noone is on the line- also they say your pc is not working and etc. it goes on and on- you miss out on important calls because of this nonsense how can we stop all this!!!

hung up watching number at the local phone company. I have various reports so it on the monlhly report for FTC to check into unless we don't continue to see it on this line. No CID unit however Verizon reports it to me.
