I had the call 2 times in 2 days wanting ss# or an arrest. How can we stop this mess?
Report this illegal theft operation attempting to STEAL the social security numbers of United States senior citizens by threatening them with arrest. Call your local and State police and also report them to the REAL social security administration. They will be stopped.
This is a scam call. Social security notifies you in writing of any medicare changes and think about it...they have your social security number already. If you like to banter with the idiots have at it, just dont give your information out, NOONE WILL ARREST YOU.
He said there was a trail of messages in my name. Told to me that if I did not get back to him he would have to issue a warrant and have me arrested. He told me to be ready to provide the last 4 digits of my social security number. He did not say what company he worked for.
Left a message with robot recoded voice telling me I must call back and verify the last 4 digits of my SSN or Ithey will issue an arrest warrant immediately and have me arrested. This is definitely a Scam!

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
