Got a call from a woman (foreign accent), asking for me by name but would not give me her name, said she was from 5th/3rd Bank. She said she wanted to talk about my bank transactions on a specific date last week that involved a collections effort. I said I am not behind in any payments with 5th/3rd and she said to stop the collection effort from her end, all she need was my birth date & my account number. At that point you know where I told her to go! I then called 5th/3rd customer service & they said this was a scam phone call & to report it here.
I received a call from them today (Covington, Ky-Annette) while I was away from the phone, they left no message. Reside in Brooklyn Center, Mn.
Keep calling my number, wanting me tto answer survey for "Comcast", I don't have anything to do with the company.I don't want anything to do with the company.I am on the Do Not Call list. Calls began after I went on the list. I believe they as well as other companies are using the list as a list of good numbers to call.
They've been calling repeatedly for weeks. I never answer and they never leave a message. Look, people, I never answer a call, landline or cell, if I don't know who it's from. Period. If you want to interact with me at all ever, you need to leave a message.And people wonder why the results of political polls never match the vote totals anymore.
recieved two calls on april 12 and april 13th around 7:30pm. I called back and told them take me off the call list.
Person claimed to be from "ORC" and said they were doing a survey of people's grocery shopping habits in the area. Cut him off right there and told him not only do I not do surveys but that we are also on a "DO NOT CALL" registry...and I hung up. Must be Saturday evening SCAMMERS!
