caller leaves no message - I do not know anyone in this area code

I picked it up today, it is a local call for me. Some call from Staples offering me an increased reward for 6 months if I gave them my email address.

so i get a call saying there looking to renew the mag and i said sure ill verify the info and i was VERY VERY nice ever thou I know this was a spam call. The young girl was taken back from me being so nice. :) then after i said is there anything else i can answer for you she hung up on me.. WTH i was being so nice to her and bam. so you know i tried to call back and it says its Not in service.. GRRRRR i hate these people

It's not a scam - these are telemarketers for trade publications. Yes, they are free subscriptions as the magazine is paid by the advertiser. i.e. If you are a supplier to the foodservice industry, you want to make sure your publication is going to places that serve food, not an engineering company. There are all kinds of audit regulations that business publications need to adhere to (i.e. how old is the subscriber, where did they mail in a card or did you call them). I have been in the trade publication business for alnost 20 years. It is all very legitimate. They should however, not be hanging up on you.

this is samsung case management they try to help on out of warranty issue.

I keep receiving calls from this number asking for my husband, who is ill and cannot talk at times...I want these calls to stop

You never need to pay an upfront fee for these things. Government forms are online, ready to download, and free. So.....as DaFox says, you're a SHILL for a scam.

I do not want this company to call me again, I did not suscribe to any magazines.

They keep calling everyday and they do not leave a message .

Your all a bunch of [***]. Don't post here. Report the call to the FCC EACH AND EVERY TIME, or they WILL NOT STOP. So you [***] here, so what...?
