Yes, this is a JC Penney number. They have started issuing a JCP/MasterCard to their customers and this number is constantly calling to get me to activate it. I have told them I do not want a MasterCard so they have finally agreed to deactivate it. They are just copying Sears who came out with a Sears/MasterCard a couple years ago. Just another means of harassment.
They act like it is your new JC Penny card but in reality, when you activate it, you are applying for a new credit card. Seems illegal to me?

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
