Has called me on & off for several months. I never had any federal student loans so don't need forgiveness. The small loan I had from a hometown bank was paid off over 30 years ago. This is clearly a scam.
Received a call from this number stating that I qualify for student loan forgiveness. Although I do have a student loan i am aware that student loan debt is that it must always be repaid - it cannot be eliminated unless you have a federally qualifying reason (death, permanent disability, school closure, falsification of documents or identity theft). So for those that do have student loans know that unless you have one of those issues stated above, it is not possible to have your federally funded student loan forgivin.
Got a call from a number in Boston asking me to return the call at this number regarding student loan forgiveness. Felt fishy since I'm in constant contact with my loan provider and they never mentioned anything.
