Mine comment is more of a question for my friend who gave there information to them and are worried about what will happen to them since they gave them their information after I let them know that this may be a scam?
I called the number back from a payphone and advised that this was a mistake for calling me and i advised them that i had did not have a social to mess with them and they started getting very aggressive and wanted to know where i was located. I ask why does it matter if i have no social and the individual said kept insisting where i was. Point is this is definitely a scam call.
just got a call from this number claiming to be the Social Security Administration that needed to talk to me asap - my understanding is that the SSA won't ever call you unless they have been in prior recent contact for a known issue - I believe this to be a phishing scam

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
