Therefore, I have not answered the phone for concern that doing so will lead to further violations of my privacy.
Scam Scam Scam - its pretty believable when you call. The guy said his name was Larry Thompson and he was so rude. Told me our service was going to be shut down in a half hour and I needed to pay by cash as paying by card would take 24 - 48 hrs to process. Told me I was to go to the bank take out $700 and then go to Walgreens and make a payment there.
got a call from this number which said that they was aps and that my service was going to be disconnected. he said his name was john and I have never had such a rude person in my whole life but guess what it wa not aps and I tied up his line of scam for over 1 hour. then I kept calling back and he was so mad
Call sounds as if it is from ConED, transfers to a Manager who says his name is Nathan Branche who then tells you that your payments for the last 3 months were never received and applied to your Account and they have you scheduled to disconnect in 1 hr... I'm guessing unless you make payment over the phone with them. I hung up and called ConED and they confirmed my Account was not in default and told me this call was a scam. Please stay alert.

called three times in less than 2 minutes! Came up as "Spam" sure enough.. pretty sure it is. No reason to keep calling and calling and calling.. Finally, blocked it. Never answered the phone, and.. glad I didn't.
