888-528-3691 is from D&A Services, a debt collector. They called my house twice and when I spoke with them they asked for me by name. I confirmed my name and they asked if I could confirm the last four digits of my social security number. The man also identified the specific account they were trying to recover a debt on. After I told him my last four he stated he had the wrong person and apologized for the call. He was not pushy, so I give him credit for that. I receive calls like this often and it appears they call everyone with the same name.

Called me while I was working today. Why? Why? WHY? I can't take it anymore! Stop it! Just stop! The harassment is just relentless!!!

Voicemail said DNA services. Cross-referenced the number - it's D & A services. That said, used three different Illinois prefixes when they called three times in four business days. Since I don't owe any money, thought it was a scam. Given my identity was stolen; and, for $5 bucks you can get anyone's information on the dark web, thanks to hackers hitting Target, Blue Cross, Equifax and Nieman Marcus, no one is safe anymore. Curiosity got the better of me so I called today. Searching for Catherine / Cathryn Ponce who listed my cell number. Quickly cleared that up. The polite and professional woman at D&A promised to delete my number when I offered to give her proof I'm male and had the same number for 14 years. Fingers crossed the calls stop now.
