wow bad communication on part of ig companys.
This wasn't an unwanted call. I just had a credit card transaction I couldn't identify at first because it was listed as WU Tallahassee and had this phone number. Checking my records I found it was from paying my electric bill online.
Glad to know that's what it was, it showed up on my statement and I was so confused and was on my way to fill out a dispute form, until I googled it. City of Tallahassee needs to identify itself better, even though it was a third party wire transfer.
Can someone help me out? I did not get a call from this number, but there was a charge on my credit card statement and this number was beside it. It also was titled WU: Continental Finance. When I called the number, I got a prompt saying that the voicemail was full. Does anyone know who this is?
i got the same thing, WU I think stands for Western Union. All of these are bills from the city handled through Western Union money transfers
My son lives in Tallahassee,he was late paying his utility bill,I gave him my credit card #.A western Union charge was on my credit card bill with a $10.00 finance charge,I had no idea that this charge was for his power bill. I all most disputed the charge.
Google Reveals AllLooking over the February bank statement, I noticed a debit charge from WU for $135+ 0n 2/18/09. According to the cell phone detail bill, one of my husband's [***] puppies he dated while in college which lives in Tallahassee called him most of the day on 2/18/09. I know he paid her utility bill. As usual, when I confront him about this he will lie. Within the past nine months, dealing with him has been hell on wheels, he has lots of secrets that needs to be told.
I just received a text message from #72001 with this phone number # 866-316-3360 telling me that my "balance" is $359.66 and if I would like to pay it right away all I need to do is text back "Yes" and my bill would be paid. I'm worried that these people have my credit card information. When I called the number back an automated system came on and they called themselves "Speedpay" and the system said that the office was closed, although there hours, supposedly, are from Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. I never signed up for anything like this.
