they have called our offices several times over the last two monthsthey are not "Duke Energy." the call originates from a Tele-marketing group. The objectinve it to SLAM your utiltiy services, get your account information, change it and sell it, BIG TIME. Beware. If you want to lower your energy costs, check with your State utitity commission or Department of Energy. Theses same types slam telco customers too.

wanted to talk to the person who pays the gas and electric bill...they were pushy and arrogant. Says they want to get us a better deal on energy cost, just give them the account name and number...they will do the rest. right...give them the account name and number? but they just said they respesented my utility. Hummm. checked the number...not a gas company. not a electric company...a thief in disguise.

"Mr. Watson" left two messages saying he was from Duke regarding my gas bill. First hint he was not from Duke, I don't have GAS.

Caller ID was blocked, but this is the call back number they left on message which was:"Hi, my name is Mike. I am calling regarding you Nicor natural gas bill for the business. You can call me back at 866-362-7122 extension 105. Thank you."

I got a call from the same number 866-362-7122. A Mr. Gonzalez left a message and said he was calling from Nicor gas. I called back and there was no business name on the recording at all just one to tell me to wait for the operator. This is some type of telemarketer and they want to switch your gas service.

I got a call from Melissa. Left message with call back number 866-362-7122 X1126. Message never identifies company calling. Just says to call them back regarding natural gas bill. Called the number (Probably a mistake) and hear "Your call is important to us and you will be transfered to the next agent" Said nothing about the company, said number about dial the extention. I hung up before anybody answered.

Called me in regards to my utility bill and switching my natural gas supplier.I signed up and it was a great decision my billl literally went down 20 percent.If you live in a deregulated state such as mine ( Illinois) give them a call

Just received message from my receptionist that PECO called and left 1-866-362-7122 ext 1147 as a call back #. I called and it hangs right up on you. They are not from PECO!!!

Teresa from some Natural Gas (sounded like she said Duke) called May 28, 2010 and wanted to talk about my account. I don't have natural gas. She left her number 1-866-362-7122 ext 1147 as a call back number. I didn't call her back because my mom said she'd gotten a call a few days ago from some natural gas company wanting to know our account number and they wanted to look at our gas gauges. My mom said no and they hung up on her.

They called and left a message, sounded like I hadn't paid my bill or something. When I called them back there was a message in English and French. French? I'm in Chicago! I waited, then I got cut off. Called back and the same thing happened again. Finally I realized this was not my gas company...
