Just received the same call from Barbara Anderson. NEVER had any student loans, never said company calling from or my name. SCAM!
Got a phone call from 202-997-2090. Barbara Anderson left voicemail to discuss student loan call back number 866-399-1216 Ref# 02025. SCAM!! Everyone has same reference #. Be careful don't give your information.
I am over 70 and do not have a student loan. I receive scores of calls from these student loan scammers, and the latest from "Barbara Anderson" is simply the latest one. The recent call from 866 399-1216 is another forged number that the scammers rotate through so frequently that no recipient knows who the scammer is or where the call is coming from. Corporations and government protect these scammers. Verizon will DO NOTHING. They like charging you the minutes triggered by the calls. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will DO NOTHING. The enforcers of the Federal No-Call list will DO NOTHING. The impotency of these agencies is shown by the hundreds of complaints about this number being posted on the web, while the government agencies show no inclination to shut them down. Do not return "Barbara Anderson's" calls. The callers are likely phishing for active cells to sell to other spammers.
MCall from Barbara. She didn't give her last name, but stumbled around a bit as if she lost her place reading from her que card! She left the same message as above comments.She emphasized "Federal" sudent loan repayment options, 02025 reference # and called from 202#, but call back to 877-399-1216.I have NO idea why they can't catch these people.....ughhhhh! Definitely an orange jumpsuit needed
Same as above comments but my call came through from 401-234-1058, which is apparently spoofed, as the number belongs to what appears to be a legitimate seafood company in RI!

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!
