Scammer leaves a message that they are going to “file paper” against you, and you have been notified. Do not return the call. They do not give the company name or behave in any legitimate way.
Stated they are serving papers to my home today for a delinquent account from 2010 with Capitol One Credit Cards. Knew my social and all my information. Also called my children, parents, siblings, niece. Contacted Capitol One. There is no account. When I told the caller to serve the papers and take me to court, they hung up on me.
