I was expecting a call from CVS Caremark and got a message asking me to call this number, with a 7 digit extension. It gave me an informative message. It did not ask me for personally identifying information, probably because I was provided with that code.The number was almost certainly legitimately CVS Caremark.

I called CVS directly, and they confirmed that they use this number for distributing recorded messages. (Our recorded message was too vague, so I really needed to talk to a human anyway.) I suggested that they always provide CVS Caremark on the caller ID. Otherwise, we will not pick up the phone.

Nope, It is CVS Caremark Prescription Services!If you rec'd a message saying it was FIA Card Services, Then you mistook which message you were listening to. Because, There's a BIG difference between the two businesses. CVS Caremark is The Mail Order Prescription Service , FIA Card Services is a Credit Card Collection Service!

It is a scam. Caremark already knows who your doctor is and can contact them directly. I talked to Caremark a couple years ago about these calls and they said it was not them calling.

Someone must be Spoofing the number in your caller ID. The genuine call leaves a message that includes a number to call back and a 7-digit extension number. When you call that number and enter the extension you get a message. This CVS CVS Caremark who do mail-order prescriptions (usually ones with refills).
