This collection agency calls me every day asking for Samuel Hopkins.

They call my place of work daily, I always get dead air, so today I wrote the number down and called it back and got some lady, told her I had been getting hang-up calls, I asked her who this was, she wouldn't answer, just asked me for my name, which I gave, then asked me for my Social Security number, when I told her I wasn't giving her my SS#, she hung up on me. Pretty pissed off about it.

It's Ally Financial (formerly GMAC financing). Calls if you are past due on car payments.

I got this call from Allied Financial on my cell phone. I eventually spoke to a very rude person who asked my name and then said they were looking for someone else.

This company calls 1-2 times a day for 4 weeks now. Only left a message twice. One time a woman named April ___ said she was calling from Accounts Payable about money we owe them. Lots of boiler room noise in the background. If this is about automobile payments then it's a total sham because we paid off both of our new cars in 2011...

This number kept calling and not leaving a voicemail. I finally got fed up and called back. They claimed to be from Ally Financial. When I asked why they wouldn't leave a message, they said they couldn't tell me anything unless I gave them my social security number or account number. I told them I would not be giving them any information and ended the call. I checked the Ally website, and that number is not listed there. So I called Ally and they said that number is not affiliated with them. This is clearly a scam, please be careful!

Someone emailed my company claiming they had an invoice from us (a word document) saying they were from a Chevrolet Dealership and left that number (866.4438858) as a contact phone number.We never opened the invoice as we do not do Word Document Invoicing & virus's can be packed pretty tightly in them... when I called the number an automated "Survey" picked up telling me I won a cruise, and just had to answer a couple of personal questions.Complete fraud all-a-around.

Just called my cell looking for Gregory. Not anyone I would know. I think it is a made up name to get me to call back and say they have the wrong number. I have had the same number for over 15 years...they cant say I have an old number on file for that long! PS I owe no monies, I have no college loans, I don't want your "free" items , and you cannot con me out of money...stop calling.

They call my office almost daily. When I answer the phone most of the time there is just dead air and no one on the line. From time to time there is a recording that says "hold the line for an important call". I normally don't stay on the phone, but today I did. The person came on the phone asking for accounts payable and would not give me the name of the business she was looking for. I hung up. We do not have any vehicles financed through this company.
