Had a voice message on my home recorder. Caller said name is Chris from Nordstrum FSV and said to call 866-491-7864

We don't have a Nordstrom card or store here, yet we still get the calls. My credit score is over 800.

So is this Nordstrom the store or what. This guy called and said he was from "Nordstrom Bank" and when I asked him twice what city he was in he said "southern california" both times. I said I had never heard of Nordstrom Bank and he didn't comment. Very suspicious. So is this the store or what?

Debt doesn't cancel the right to be free from harassment in your own home. Send letters or email instead of hiring scumbags - like you - who work for even scummier collection agencies. Where do you get off posting your self-serving comments on forums designed for your victims?

This is Nordstrom Bank, the credit division for the store. None of it is a scam... I get a call any time I fall past due. I don't really believe the earlier post of them saying "it's me...call me back". They are not a collection agency, but if you believe it's a scam and avoid the calls long enough I would imagine you eventually will be with one! Pay your bill as agreed in that little piece of paper you signed when you got it and you won't have to wonder what this number is.

I got a call twice ,one voicemail(machine) saying its nordstrom and to call back, but i dont even have a nordstrom card...sooo WTF? ive never even applied for a nordstrom card....

Money (49.87 USD) ARE BEING DEDUCTED FROM MY MASTER CREDIT CARD.HOW CAN I STOP THIS DEDUCTIONS?

Then if I were you, I'd check my credit report to see if someone has used your ID or made you an "authorized user" on a Nordstrom card. (I was once made an authorized user, without my knowledge. When the account went bad they contacted me to pay it. I told them that I never used it, nor did I apply for the card. And since there could be no transactions attributed to me I was not liable for that account) The other possibility is if you co-signed for an account at Nordstrom or had a joint account - then you would be liable for this debt. It all depends on your particular states credit laws.Nordstrom store card, Nordstrom Visa, Nordstrom Checking are administered by Nordstrom FSB. Yes Nordstrom has it's own bank. :)
