I got a call from this number for AEP. They were called me on a Friday to remind me that my payment was due the following Monday or it would be disconnected.

Same crap here, this is a bogus group calling.

suppose to have a work order for this address. aep.

This is a legit call for Electric Companies, they may just have a wrong phone number wrote down if you're not the person that owes the bill. This is the 2nd time they've called me & I do in fact have a past due account.

it is not a scam peoplemy electric is scheduled for disconnection they call 1-2 days before handmy electric bill is 639.00 total and 355 is past due..its insane there upping fees..

This is a scam I don't even have a AEP account. LOL

Not a scam, folks. This number is for AEP/PSO. I was not able to pay my bill in full, but paid everything that I could at that time, except for the last $51 of said statement. (I am making sure all of my bills gets paid something so I stay afloat and get everything under control -- and things are slowly, but surely getting better). Then the next month's bill came out (thus adding that $52 to my new balance, which became a past due amount. AEP sends the next month's statement, along with a cut-off/disconnect service notice that I am past due for that amount, and cut-off will take place during a particular time frame (yes, even though I always pay almost all of the bill every month). I even stopped using my AC (turned off switch) to lower consumption, but they still bill me the same huge amounts, damn them. So, if you do not pay in full, you ARE in arrears, and even if you pay something every month they will still disconnect service until you meat that amount in arrears on or before the cut-off date. Miss it and they cut you off, no mercy. You cannot carry past due balances in any dollar amount, not even when you pay something each month so that you are never actually skipping any month's payment. It's just a big ocean out there with too many fishies... If you can't swim, you sink...you just have to learn how to float, I guess. I just hate their calls...makes me feel like telling them to shove it. But I don't....

This was a legit call for me, unfortunately. My spouse forgot to pay the electric bill & we are scheduled to be cut off in two days (he's paying it tonight FWIW). Call was from AEP, which is our electricity provider.

It is legit. Got a call about disconnect. Checked and we hadn't paid bill. Paid bill and called back. Person at call center said payment recieved.

I got a message from this number to call them but when I tried the number was unavailable. No idea what the message was for because they didn't say anything other than to call this number.
