Soon to be annoyed in Kansas City. I just sold my home, yes for a huge loss in Chicago, but moving to greener pastures in Kansas City. The title company is in the process of closing all my mortgage and equity line of credit. So I guess they are calling asking why and why I didn't use them for my new home. 1 reason. WELLS FARGO SUCKS! On my second home in Florida they put a flood policy and charged it to my equity line, now that I don't have the equity line, they are freaking out how to screw me. Law clearly states they can't force me to take more flood insurance than required to cover the loan. I got a policy and they state it wasn't enough. I have an attorney and I am in a class action suit. Hopefully will settle soon and get most my money back, plus interest. In any case, that is why they are probably calling me. They don't leave a message which tells me it is a scam call or solicitation to get my business. Well Wells Fargo, LOL, you can stick it where the sun don't shine. You lost me as a customer for LIFE! Paying off the Florida home hopefully within the next year and won't have to ever do business with them again. GOOD RADIANCE! Why the caller ID says 800 service or Wells Fargo, shows you they know they suck and have no pride in their product. Call me back with a proper caller ID and I may pick up. Soon you will get blocked unless you leave a message. I may report this to the DO NOT CALL LIST violation. They are required to leave a message once the machine picks up and to identify themselves on caller ID. Both violations.
Opps, The caller ID says "800 Service" and not "Wells Fargo". Either it is a scam, phishing number, or someone SPOOFING the caller ID to find personal information. With all the id theft, Sony getting hacked, and bad economy, don't ever do business on the phone. Just tell them you will call the number on your statement or credit card. Sorry, but you can't trust anyone these days. If I don't initiate the call, I give NO information over the phone. A legitimate company will understand and should applaud you for your vigilance.
I get the call daily from 866 735 1618. I never answer 800. I agree that Wells Fargo Sucks out loud.I am in process of closing brokerage, checking and savings and leaving them forever.......F--- em! I'm not sure that any bank is worth a sh--! But WF is on top of the worst.
I am a Wells Fargo customer, so I guess that gives them the right to bother me with phone calls. To Ole Timer above, you are right - no bank is any good. They are all a bunch of selfish jerks.
This is definitely Wells Fargo and they are no better than the lowest scammer. Wells Fargo does not have your interests in mind; they have THEIR interests in mind. I know because I am a customer. I consider Wells Fargo to be the least bad option.I don't think Wells Fargo would actually steal your money but if you do business with them, you find out fast that they are more concerned about themselves and their fees than about you and your money. Their jobs are to separate you from your money with a thin patina of honesty.Wells Fargo bankers = scum.
This numbered called couple of times, didn't pick it up, never left a voicemail either. WTHECK
