Similar to previous reports, they left a message on my voicemail to call back for an "important message". I did attempt on two occasions, it went to an automated message; "all our representatives are busy, please stay on the line for the next available agent." and I remained on hold for over ten minutes. Now that I've read the above, I won't bother again. Not sure what they want, and I don't care.

if the message does not use your name or identify themselves, it is clearly FRAUD. Ignore it as best as possible. Legitimate operations state who they are & why they are calling & ask for a specific individual.

these messages have just started for me i called back they were looking for someone not ME said they would take my number off and i get another call again later that day how irriating and starting to make me one cranky person

OUT OF AREA number coming up on my phone several times a day and from 7am to 10pm. Asking me to call 1-866-794-2575, so I call this number because its "an important message" for me. Been on hold for 15 minutes now. If it's so important why do we have to wait so long on hold. Theres an option to hit one to get a voice mail for an agent. Bell has a trace feature that costs you money of course, I wonder if its worth it? The trace goes straight to the police station, you will never know who it was till its traced and charges filed. I have an unlisted number how would they get this number ? There sfter 18 mins the line with dead with a busy tone. Its all a hoax to get you to call back and they record your telephone number. Just like all the recordings you get that you ahve won a caribiean cruise hit one now...soon as you hit one it records your telephone number and the cycle just keeps continuing. Anytime anyone calls out of area etc, dont answer it !!! If its a REAL company they will leave you a message and also tell you who they are in the first place. My advise is get an answering machine or get feature on your phone that all calls coming in unidentified have to say who they are before call goes through. Good Luck everyone!

I keep getting calls from these people on my cell phone. Same story as everyone else. When I call back their answering machine is full and I cannot leave a message. I read in a statement above it is a collection acgency Nordon. I think what it may be for is Columbia House records. That company has scammed me and I keep getting letters from Nordon and I too am trying to deal with this problem accordingly. If Anyone has any usefull info can you please let me know? That would be greatly appreciatedHeather

Same as all of the other responders. Have not been able to get a response either but I am sure it is Columbia House as they think we owe them money and in fact we never received the CDs we ordered. We received someone elses order which was returned to them promptly and we know they received them because we requested a signature when they were accepted back by Columbia House. We hadn't had any correspondence with them for almost a year. I think the best is to block the call which I will try doing.

These calls are absolutely annoying. They come through my cell phone as '416' from early morning to late night and this has been going on for about a year. This company is called Nordon and has been known to call from 1-866-754-5602. Do NOT call them and give any personal information and good luck getting them to take your phone number off their list.

Called via an automated dialer that played music for a connection to a live person when I picked up the phone.Live person asked to identify what company does and refused to state what they do. Said only “finanicial”. Refused to identify function and nature of company. Instructed not to call. Threatened they would continue to call.Last call return: 1-866-794-2575
