We have started to receive unsolicited calls from this number describing crime/ accidents and offering a security call system targeted for seniors.
Call is from a company called "Higher Pointe"..higherpointe.com...have received multiple calls from people who barely speak english..they have thick arabic or possibly indian accents.
This is really hirepoint.com. If you have applied for a job recently that is why they may be calling if not it is just a wrong number.
Yes, this is actually hirepoint.com and they called me in response to my application for TeleTech (an inbound call center). They do have very thick accents and for me it was very difficult to understand them. It was awkward talking to them as the pauses in the conversation and all the "is this correct", "is that correct" was irritating. Very odd. But the phone number and business is legitimate.
At 78 I'm certainly not looking for a dang job! It's a SCAM, folks. Pure and simple! I don't answer any calls that aren't at least from my area code or that I don't list in my phone book.
Havent applied for any jobs so call must be a scam. Asked for me by name without identifying who they were with. Replied "you have wrong number" and hung up. I called back number and got recorded message saying i had reached Higher Point something.
Have received several calls today from this number. I won't answer the phone if I don't know the number or if they don't leave a message.
I WAS interested in a job with them but never finished the application online since I found a new job. Now these people won't stop calling me! I can't understand them anyway and don't want any more to do with them!

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
