I do not want anymore calls from the Denver jail. I will not help this one for she has done nothing but play me for money.
Have you tried not being a stupid [***]? Considering there's an overwhelming amount of evidence to this being a scam you're going to need more proof than a woeful attempt at a guilt trip. Not to mention your syntax is the same among everyone whom is trying to defend this. Either you're all uneducated morons trying to con people into this or you're all one person trying to get people to believe this garbage.
Unwanted, unsolicited call. Robot says it's from inmate "John" at Pinal County Jail. I didn't respond and hung up. Called the jail's number and was told they have no control over the call if it's from an inmate, which I don't think it is. Plus I don't know anyone at the jail. Calls keep coming through, six so far. Suspect a scam.
This is tied to county jails. My sister has been in jail for a while now and there are two numbers that we get one is this one which costs money usually and the other is usually free. I know this I think jails go through one or two companies they all use to make it more simple. I guess.Just because you get a call from this number though doesn't mean its someone young know someone could have acciedently entered one wrong digit..Kentucky..
Got a call from this number. Didnt answer. Dont know anyone in jail, so i think it could be a scam. Ive had this same number over eight years...so it wasnt a mistaken call to someone elses number. Best optionnis to mot answer calls from numbers u dont know. No voicemail was left either.
I've had over twenty calls to my cell phone from this number within the past week. I hung up on the first call and didn't answer the others because I use prepaid and it costs me at least one minute just to answer and hang up. Some of these calls were placed after midnight and I have trouble believing that a jail inmate has access to a phone after midnight. I also havetrouble believing that the most dimwitted inmate in the world would keep calling the same number and expect any result other than what he has achieved with his first twenty or so attempts. Folks, I don't care if this is a scam or not. It may not be a scam but it sure sounds like a ripoff to me. I'll let the people who defend this outfit justify the costs because I don't need or want anything this company has to offer me. That said, I have been disturbed and aggravated more by these calls than by every scam robo call that I have received in the past six months. They may or may not be violations of the law but I'm going to report them anyway because the company responsible for the calls is not providing me with any way to stop them without costing me money. One last point: All I get on the display for a name is "No Name". if these calls are on the up and up, why does the caller suppress their name?
The number 1-866-847-1251 calls my minor son's phone daily. The recording leaves a message.
Yes this is a real inmate telephone service company. SecurusTec. If you go to their web site you will see that they hold the option to sell any information they collect about you and in my interaction with them they demand information, "what is the billing zip code for the cell phone you are using" and "is anyone in your household 65 and over", under false pretenses, "verify that you have the right to accept a charge to this phone" or "see if you qualify for a special promotion". They are real, but they are dishonest. I have submitted a complaint to the FCC and encourage anyone with similar experiences to do the same.
