This number will show up when a person in jail is attempting to make a collect call to a cell phone. It is a legitmate company that allows u to pepay for collect calls from a person in jail. If u receive a call from this number it is because someone u know is in jail and is trying to call you. There is no way to stop the calls unless who ever is trying to reach u stops calling. It is not a scam it is real I usedit when my husband was in jail. If u call your cell phone provider they can give u the info on the company.

I recieved a call from this number on june 1st.. about 16 times within 24 hours. i just ignored them but this thing is getting my nerves already.. from the last 32 days they called me 10 to 16 times a day.. and the wierd thing is i just this cellphone and new number on april 28. and i just dont know where they got my number.

My fiance just called me today from jail with this number. It is someone trying to call you from a correctional institution. If you don't recognize the name then don't accept it. I did, I accepted, and talked to him.

My husband and I BOTH have received repeated calls from this number. We do NOT know anyone in jail and rarely give out either of our numbers to our cell phones. We are ONLY getting the calls on our cells. His first. I've never answered since I didn't know the number. It goes to voicemail and leaves a message like it's been cut off saying, "press 1, I do not recognize this answer, this phone has not been charged." So I looked it up and found your information here VERY helpful. I called the company and got a bit of a run around. Took me a few calls to get 'in' to a real person and ended up with a NON-ENGLISH speaking person who I barely understood. She kept asking me if I had someone in jail. I said NO, NO, and NO~ I do NOT know anyone in jail NOR do I want to and I do NOT want anyone calling my or my husband's phone. She FINALLY said she could 'block' our numbers. So, we shall see if this works. I also emailed them just to make sure. I also called my phone provider, but they told me they could NOT block any numbers. They DID take down the number and were going to place it on my acct in case they had further complaints. They claimed if enough people called them with complaints they may take action. It's fine if this is a true service for those who use it...but I do NOT want them calling ME~ There is OBVIOUSLY a flaw in their system. I have a couple police friends and one who works in the Gennesee Co jail. They use a diff service he says...but I have him checking this out if there is more that we can do...those of us who do NOT want to be bothered~

This number came in on my cell phone today around 3:00pm. The recorded message alerted me that I had a collect call from Henry county and the recorded pause and the person requesting the collect called stated my name, the recorded returned and stated should I want to accept this call press the number 1 and that a $9.00 fee would be charged to my cell phone. well of course, I did not press 1, nor do I know of anyone in jail. If it is someone that knows me...oh well....
