download MRNUMBER. it allows you to see who is calling and asks you if you want to block a number if they have already been made aware it is a scam. you can manually block any number from calling or texting you. you can opt to send the call to voicemail or hang up. when a blocked number tries to call you, you will hear a half-ring and see "mr number blocked a call"

Getting multiple calls a day. Hang ups on my voicemail. After reading this, assuming definite scam.

They call me nonstop and tell me they have important information about my bank account bb&t and I don't even have a bb&t account!

This is a real BB&T number. If you have multiple types of accounts, loans, savings, checking, this number is to advise you of loan needing attention. You do not have to enter anything on this call, you can call the 800 number on the back ot your BB&T card and anyone of the representatives would be able to assist you. I have a loan and thought my wife paid, they called through this number to advise. REAL BB&T NUMBER AND SERVICE!

No one on-line then voice recoding saying don't hang up If you are ....press and so on.Never listens to stop calling but continues. It is never ending. What is the best avenue to stop this?

Got a call from this number last night, was a computer generated message and asked for me specifically, said it was BB&T and was not a sales call, but gave no call back number. I called this number this morning and they asked for my SSN, I hung up. After calling BB&T this morning on one of their legitimate numbers, they said there was no number like the one on my caller ID that they would use.

Calls constantly leaves message to person I have never heard of saying they are BB&T.I went down to BB&T Bank and was told they could look up name and take my number offbut when they checked I was told that they had no one with that name.

called around noon on 4-11-09. Presumed scam.

Received a call from 866-877-9385 every night for the past 10 days straight asking for someone, but not me. The recording says they are calling from BB&T and then it proceeds to say; if you are "name" press 1. If "name" needs a minute to get to the phone press 2. If "name" is not available press 3. It should ask you if you are "name" press 4. These calls are getting so annoying. So finally I attempted to call them using the reference number they leave and I was asked if I was "name" and thinking the only way to get thru the phone maze was to say yes, I press 1 for yes. After that I hoped that a person would come on the line, I would give them the reference number and then tell them to stop dialing my number because I am not "name". But I was on hold for so long and I was reading all the other posts on here while I was on hold. I finally hung up and figured I would just report it and hope it stops. Who can I report this to?
