SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM I did not get a call, this company hacked my computer and then debited my bank account for $99.99. First thing in the morning I am going to file a police report with the San Antonio, TX police department and then go to my bank and dispute these charges. After I do this I am going to call the company..FFAO Freedom From Alcohol Online and demand that they give me back my money. Beware people...THIS IS A MONTHLY CHARGE.... check your account often.SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM
I didn't get a phone call from this number, but I did get a $99.99 charge to my debit card. How ridiculous! I am calling my bank first thing in the morning. I'm glad/upset that this happened to someone else besides me.
I actually DID sign up for this webside (stupid me) but I decided I wanted to cancel my membership within the 3 day trial period. I did this on the website and was redirected to a screen that said there was a "technical problem." I promptly submitted a support ticket stating that I wanted to make sure it was closed (which I never received a response to). I submitted two additional support tickets as the hours a representative is available is ONLY during work hours. I called and spoke to a Nick who told me I would receive a refund because he could see I had attempted to contact them in the trial period. I never received said refund. When I tried calling again later, I was told that Nick was let go for falsifying information to clients and that there was no record of his conversation with me so they would not refund my money. The woman I talked to (Katie) even said she remembered my situation. So now I'm out $99.99 without even a month's worth of access to the site (which I wouldn't want now anyways!) even though I was promised a refund. I filed a complaint with the BBB and FTC so hopefully something will come of it.Thanks, FFAO, you definitely have the customer's interest at heart.
I had the same thing, a charge for $3.99 and then one for $99.99 never subscribed to anything. Had several fraudulent internet subscription type charges starting 4/23/09 . I am disputing all these charges and closed my account. This is a complete SCAM. doubt they have any legitimate business at all.
I used to work for FFAO and they are a scam, do not be surprised if they rob you blind. Demand to speak to Neil Wardle who is the owner.
I helped develop the program actually, and I will say I am in recovery today from addiction and that the owner and founder Neil Wardle is one of the most vial human beings you could ever meet, they have changed company names phone numbers mailing addresses so many times they can't even keep it straight now. They do this because one company will get so inhaled with hate mail and bad reviews they just change the name of the website and company name and keep going. This is a ponzi scheme to get rich quick and that was the soul purpose of the entire thing not to help people get sober.
