NOT a "scam". The # is a legitimate call from Progressive Insurance, to remind you that you have a renewal premium due soon. One of the great things about 800Notes is being able to cross-check what others are saying about incoming phone calls. Unfortunately, there are some users that don't bother to do any legwork at all and simply cry wolf for any # that calls them. This degrades the value of this resource for everyone!Next time you get a call from an unknown number, try actually doing some real work to find out who the caller is, instead of just jumping to the wrong conclusion.
Calls from this number. Hang up when answered or answer machine picks up before I can get to phone and caller hangs up as soon as message starts. If this is Progressive, they need to improve their system to prevent these annoying calls. There are other insurance companies that don't do this type of thing.
Correct. Technology has changed phone service. NEVER give out personal, or financial information on a call YOU did not make, from a number you verified as real. Criminals can easily fake caller ID.
yup, have a policy up for renewal on the 25th. Thing is, I already told them that I found a better policy (higher coverage) at a lower rate and won't be renewing.People, if you are with them, shop around. They are deceptive, and hiding their phone # is just one example.
Night worker. Day Sleeper. I don't need calls from Progressive to remind me to renew my insurance. If I wanted to be nagged I'd have stayed married. Off to GEICO I go.
I get a ton of calls from 877-339-4612. Found out it is just Progressive Insurance with a reminder that my premiuim is due. I don't like 800 numbers any better than anyone else but they offer a valuable service when it's my insurance carrier and I forgot to make the payment. I don't want to be without insurance for even one day.
Progressive,My payments have been made on time, for over 10 years now. I'd hope that you wouldn't stoop to such actions simply to remind me that my payment is due, as you have no justification for this action. As it stands you already email & snail-mail me everything. Now calling me too? As a payment reminder?Cease using the "war dialing" tactics, they're illegal to use anyway, per federal mandate. Refer to the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 47, volume 3; Section 64.1200
Progressive, leave me alone. I always pay on time. I don't need to be bothered on my cell phone.
I asked who they were and here is what they indicated:Region Asset Management Solutions7290 Samuel Drive, Ste. 300Denver, CO 80221NOTE: he said it was a legal matter -- Talked to a Mike -- very rude - Asked for my brother -- said if he didn't call or contact him about a file that had come across their desk, that there were going to be negative repercussions... ph#866-852-2187 877-591-0433 877-339-4612 866-310-5077I just blocked those numbers from calling...
