They have been calling me for two weeks now and I have yet to answer. They leave no voicemail so I figured its not important.
Called me for a months and no messages left. Found who is it here...I do have 2 domain with 1&1 and they will be promptly transferred to another registrar that have better business practices and does NOT use personal customers information to annoy customers w/o any reason. Farewell 1&1!
hmmmm, I just got a call from this number and decided to research it. I am a 1and1 customer and have been relatively happy with the service, except for the annoyingly difficult task of getting any answers via email. A different person answers every time; as if calls are being routed to an out-sourcing company. Recently, I got charged wrongly for one of my domains. It took several emails back and forth to get a credit and I still have no idea what happened and why there was a domain on my account that I had never ordered. If the credit does not appear in my paypal account in a timely manner, I'll be considering moving my domains as well although that's such a hastle that I'd rather not have to do that. The number called was this one, 877-461-2631. As far as I know, that's the first time I've gotten a call like that from them. I didn't answer the call and no voice mail was left.
If you are a 1and1 customer and don't want calls from them, go into your 1and1 customer profile and change your phone number to some non-existent number like 999 999 9999.

They have been calling for the last week-no messages, just the call at different times- VERY annoying!!!
