I would be curious how many people have switched to UVERSE and is this when the calls started? I never got calls...never. I owe no one nothing. They are just harrassing phone calls. I have 3 pages, single spaced of all the calls in just one month's time. One good thing about UVerse it keeps a list of all your phone numbers received, so I have printed it out, and counted the numbers, days and times of calls. It's not just one number. There are many numbers. There is also another number that is "automated" and the only "name" that shows up for it is "1" -- it doesn't even give a phone number. They ring my phone at least 3 times a day. There has to be a way to stop this. I'm thinking of giving up my home phone number, or wondering if I can get an automated response that says, "the number you are trying to reach is no longer in service" -- or "thank you for the call, I have the police working with me on harrassing phone calls, and we now have your number, so you should be hearing from them soon." there has to be something people can do. I cannot even ues my own home phone. I use my cell phone. I've asked everyone I know not to call my home number because I may get rid of it. Has anyone had any luck stopping these calls? It's not just one number. I get all kinds of numbers during all times of the day. They have gotten my number from somewhere, so think about it? When did you start getting all these calls

Collection Agency

Get yourself a whistle. When you see their number on the caller ID, pick up the phone but DO NOT say anything. When they hear the silence, they will say "Hello?" At this point, take a deep breath and blow your whistle directly into the phone until you run out of breath. Then, immediately hang up. :o)

Got a call from them last night. They left a vm saying they were Federal Purchasing and work with small businesses. "Janis" sad I could reach her at 1-877-521-6759 ex 82. I have not called the number. I did some searching online (how I found this.) I sawthat they are a small company that has been operating less than five years with an annual income of $90K and two employees. I also noticed a lot of "NEED MONEY NOW!" job lisitngs for this number. This is definitely telemarketers or collection people.

Just got a call from them at 9:33 this morning. I answered in my usual fashion, which is "Lxxxx here, can I help you?". A female voice merely said "I've got the wrong number", and hung up.I've read all the posts here on this number. If it's in regards to a medical bill collection, they are in error. They couldn't be trying to reach some other person at this number, as we've had the number for 19 years now.If they call again, I'll ask them to put me on their DO NOT CALL list.

I received the call i think yesterday, they left a vm, i was trying to call them back to see what is it about... nobody answered. When I checked for the Medical revenue services online - different number. The toll free number is not even listed anywhere on the website that's #1 and besides they claim to be from FL, but the web site says they from LV nevada. The whole business stinks. Oh and of course when you call this number there is not even a voice mail that would say who they are or whom do they represent. Nothing at all.

These people call every evening at approximately 5:30 P.M. CST. Evidently they are a SCAM of some sort since nothing shows on the Caller ID. Is it possible to stop these unwanted calls. Also when the phone is picke up, no one responds.

Received two calls on my cell today about three hours apart, no voice mail left. Called them back on my home phone and they answered saying they were a business. I asked what they were a business of and she said "Medical Revenue". I told her they had called my cell twice but that I was not going to use my minutes. She looked up my cell number and asked said a name that was not me. I told her so and repeated they were calling my personal cell. She apologized and said they would correct it. We will see what happen.

I got a call from them they ask for my Father by name but he died 2 years ago he then asked if i was in charge of his estate I said he dosent have one and he put me on hold and came back and said i will remove you from the call list . He would not tell me what it was about at all.

That number called my new home phone today..there is no way my name and this new number is even known to who ever this is so it must be a spammer or scam or something not on the up and up and they just dial numbers at random. My new number is not published and I've only had it six days.
