Call from a loved one in jail- not a prank.

Unwanted call., want it blocked immediately. Don't know how or why this place even has my number.

This is not a fraud call. This is someone calling from a jail or prison.

I get these calls from a jail inmate, so it says, all the time; several times a week. I have the number on my blocked call list, but that is not even working. I am also on the do not call list, which is a farce. I don't ever answer the call, and just let it go to voicemail, but when I try to delete the call without listening to the voicemail, it won't let me. So I have to punch up the voicemail and after they get the first 2 words out, I delete it then. Geez.................what a nuisance. Should be something that can be done!!!!

This really is a call from an inmate. Inmates reach out to anyone they think may talk to them. It may be someone who doesn't know you well or whom you have not talked to or seen in years. Accounts have to be set up and money put on it, usually by you since they have no money, in order for you to talk to the inmate. Just ignore the calls. They will probably call back using a different number and you will have to keep ignoring them. Whoever is calling needs something and is hoping you will get it for them. Take my word for it, I KNOW.
