This is a call from an inmate at a correctional facility

Missed the call but got a VM of the tail end of the automated message. Said I could pay $9.99 for 10 minutes. Came here to find out what was up and wouldn't ya know it, I just found out 3 hours ago that my friend is in jail. So it was legit for me.

This number keeps on calling me asking for a credit card it has high jacked my phone and does not want to stop calling. Had to call phone company to setup Telemarketer Block service. Hopefully this work so I will be able to use my phone.

It's not a scam, so I am not sure what you think needs to be stopped. I'm also not sure why you seem to think it's a scam. it's securustech. if you call the number back it will tell you someone from one of their institutions was trying to reach you.

Have been getting these telephone calls, I hear the inmate speak his name. When I listen to message and try to push #1 or #2, nothing happens and I can never get through. The inmate ends up hanging up and we are never in contact with each other.

That's not how this works. it isn't currency for the inmates. the inmates can't touch the money, and it can only be used to call your number not anyone else. It isn't a contact number for securus because it's their collect line, if you call them directly they'll tell you the same. I've used securus for several years.
