Received the same call, also from a local number. A time sensitive matter and will pursue matters with the government. Best part - the person they're threatening DOESN'T LIVE AT THIS NUMBER
I too received robot call from local number stating I had a time sensitive urgent matter..giving me an acct and telling me to press one or call an 877 number. Having gone thru scams before..I googled both numbers..haha..both scams! I'm tempted to call back and tell them my lawyer will be in touch..but that would be giving in and acknowledging their sad existence!

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
