8881112222, person called asking for my daughter by name! Once I inquired as to the issue he stAted he was from a company called "publisher something" and my daughter ordered 3000.00 worth of magazines and that I had to pay! I informed him she was a minor and this was impossible! I asked for a supervisor and he said he was the supervisor! He would not tell me his name, but informed me thAt I now had s contract and I was gonna pay! We began screaming at each other!! I kept insisting on his name and the actual name of his company! He refused to answer me! He hung up! I cAlled the number back! It would not go through! I called the police and my phone provider! I learned that this is a huge scam! I then googles the number and found this site! I have recieved 26 calls from this number in one day!

Receiving calls from 888-111-2222 on my cell phone. There is no company name associated with the call.

They called me because they said I had won a free 1000 dollar shopping spree. They asked for my occupation and birth year, and even though I said no, they said that it may sound too good to be true but it was. They even had my name ! I hung up, but they called back twice. It was a real person, not a robot, or a recording. Just very annoying getting three or four calls a day.

The same thing just happened to me. The number showed up and the guy said I had been chosen to receive a $1000 online shopping spree. I asked him what the catch was and he initially said there was no catch, but then started talking about a shipping and handling fee and asking me for personal information. When he asked for my birthday, I told him "No thanks, I'm not interested" and he told me that I was already "in" and that there was a $200.00 cancellation fee. I said "Yeah, right!" and promptly hung up on him.

I had my phone off. The guy let me a voicemail saying my name... hello and singing thats the way u are...

Called me a min ago for first time. A female asked for me by name then complete silence. Never got ne calls till i signed up for scholarship on internet other day. What a mistake.

888-111-2222 just recently started calling me. The very first time they called I answered and heard someone start to say my name and 'this is..." it sounded like there was poor reception and the call was disconnected. Since that phone call, they've called 3 or 4 times and either hang up before I get to it, or disconnect as soon as I p/u and the phone just beeps in my ear. Oddly enough, someone got my debit card information last week around the time of the first call and spent $420 on wal mart .com. Too much of a coincidence for me. How do these people get away with this?

Same thing, they call several times a day and no one says anything and most times they call and only allow it to ring twice, before I can actually pick up. I blocked the number, via verizon. I noted I started getting these calls after I signed up with FreeFly, it's a company that claims to offer free product samples/coupons for comsumers. I found it via coupon mom....

I told them I would go where they are and beat them. Still calling though so maybe they want a beating from my husband

Who ever is using this number need their [***] kicked they serve no purpose in live but to get killed when someone find out the real reason behind this call, do not like to be hassled stop while you are ahead dumb butt.
