I revieved an automatic voice message from Rev. Peter Papov. He told me he has sent a package to my house and that my ship is coming in. This is the second message from him I have recieved. The first was mostly unintelligible and played on a loop. He sounded forcefull, something you would expect from an exorcist. I recognised his name and voice from the Mirical Water infomercials in T.V.
Receive repeated calls from this number offering a free trip if I attend a seminar. Keep telling them that I'm not interested. Calls keeps happening and sometimes get "creepy" messages on my voice mail or freakish laughing.
beachcomber gets your name and number from someone else who has been to a presentation and they receive 100$ if you go too, but they remain anonymous. Chances are someone gave your name at a presentation.
Just received a "beachcomber" call this evening. it came from 888-111-2222. I first asked the guy for his number to get back with him, and he gave me one. i then said i was on do not call list. Guy apologized, said it was his first day on the job. I then told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor and again explained I was on the do not call list. the supervisor also apologized. I asked him to comfirm the phone number, reading it back to him (866-337-8171). He said it was not the right number, and gave me 866-3347-8191. I registered the complaint with the National Do Not Call Website. Neither number comes up on the internet.
Recieved two calls in two days from this number on a cell phone. Did not hear the calls, so did not pick up. No message left on my voicemail, so called back from cell and landline, and the "call could not be completed" even with a "1" at the beginning.
This happen to me too. it is coming from; at least for me, from a website I believed was Walmart.com. I gave them my cell phone number and believed I was at walmart.com because the web browser was indicating that. they sent several text messages subscribing me to 9.99 a month services and offered me a 1000 walmart gift card it I would complete survey's. each survey was another 9.99 monthly subscription to something.
Just received a call from them... they call daily and I never answer but finally did. She said she was from simple.net and was offering me a no contract internet service. Very persistent and even when I said I wasn't interested and that I was on the no call list she just answered with more "great" things about their internet service. I hung up, she was still talking.
asked if i had internet....i asked who he was....he said Glenn Davis from simple.net....i told him if this company called back his name would be on the lawsuit for harrassment and he got very polite and said good bye in his best indian accent....1-800-487-7467 is the #for simple.net call and just have a conversation
