Got call from 800 Service claiming to be Social Security Fraud dept saying it was IMPORTANT I call them back at this number. Strange it came across as 800 Service!
Said it was a call from Social Security, and I was being investigated. I did not answer the call.
Someone called my elderly parents from this number today. They said they were being investigated for drug trafficking and money laundering. They were asking for personal information and my mom refused to give it to them. They told her they were going to send local law enforcement out since she wasn't cooperating. She called me crying her eyes out. I've tried calling the number over and over and they just pick up and hang up. I feel awful for my mom who is already dealing with my father who has dementia. Anyway, thanks to those that commented about this number. This was definitely a scam.
Another call from the Social Security scam...left a message on my VM. Reported call to phone company etc
Recieved a call on 12/16/19 at 7:57 regarding a "suspension notice against your social security number by the federal crime investigation department. Please call immediately". Will not be returning the call.
