"Isabel" Called me posing as a MEDICAL RECORDS OFFICER. She had my true name, date of birth, and last 4 of my social. She had knowledge of my recent urinalysis, and claimed that I tested positive for a controlled substance (not possible), and I need to send her $150.00 for a special re-test that will clear my name. She also stated that refusing to comply within 24 hours will force her to report to my employer of a failed test.
My company stated "We do have any association with "EMRO", and your test result was delivered last week as negative for any controlled substance."
12/20/2018 - still same scam, not sure how they get your info, but dont give them anything like your DR/RX #, social- they are a scam. For $150 they will change the result of your drug test. Even if you never took one!
EMRO is the name of this company. This may be a collection agency.
I just called them, they are a drug screening company and from my understanding the do other "testing" as well.
This is just a follow up call from a company called EMRO. The call is to discuss your positive test results. If you call them back, a rep will ask you for your ssn for quick identifiction. I provided the rep also with the name of the company I took the drug screen test for. The rep will inform you that your being placed on hold and a doctor will be with you shortly (music will be playing on the hold end). The doctor comes on the phone; ask you for your name, last 4 of your ssn, will inform you your test result is positive (for which drug that shows up ie; morphine), the doctor will ask what prescription medications your on, your prescription # a.k.a. RX #, the pharmacy name & telephone # that filled it and last for the date it was filled. The doctor will then tell you that he/she will reflect to your potential employer your test results are negative. The employer does not have to know what medicine/s your on.
this is true info, thank you for post
So if you dnt have a prescription they report it to the employer?
It's a scam!! Don't give them your prescription #!!!! They will pretend they are you and sell your prescription pills!!!
