If these annoying calls from Shaw don't stop I will move everything to Telus! The company needs to learn that aggressive marketing does NOT work. They send out information by mail and it's available for anybody on the internet. That is enough.
Shaw Cable.Been calling me for months at the same time every day during business hours. Fortunately, I am not around and I have had them blocked for months now. The steller marketing campaign just made me get rid of my cable and watch Netflix on Apple TV from now on. Not looking back.
I really love bothering all you nice folk, especially during mealtimes. I only call to annoy you and after all, you're paying for it through your Shaw bill. When we send a technician to your house, they are actually casing the joint for a future burglary or molesting your children. Honest, we are nice people.Just look where our "family" of executives measure up in terms of compensation in Calgary.We made this big investment in telephone hardware and quite frankly, it isn't paying off. Come on people, buy into the plan....we have vacation residences in warm locations to support, while you stay in cold Canada and watch Shaw provided cable TV. Serge, you do realize that you have just given your phone number to the whole internet and that your nuisance calls are going to go up 100% don't you? Sheesh! Idiots everywhere!
Well, its been a month since their last phone campaign, and right in coordination with the upcoming full moon they start up again. Shaw is worse than herpes!
Got my daily call from 1-888-472-2222 and finally decided to call it back. They saw they are Shaw. Pressed 0 to get a real person and got Rene (?) who didn't understand the words I was speaking. He didn't catch my name, he didn't understand that I called this number to get to him, he couldn't even write the number down properly. After 20 minutes of stating the same things over and over and being on hold over and over, I told him that he clearly had no clue what was going on and I'd call back to talk to a manager that may understand this simple task of taking my number off their telemarketing list. He called back from 403-416-6000 (another Shaw number) to tell me that this was going to the NCC whatever that is and that he'd call me when he gets an answer from them.
It's Shaw cable trying to sell you crap. They have a super annoying marketing campaign. They said it will take up to 6 weeks to take me off the list. I said screw that fix it or I'm gone and they said they can send an email to stop it right away. Don't take this crap from companies like this!
