I started to enter an online sweepstakes, then realized it was this home choice warranty place, so I left the website, but they caught my number I guess. Makes me kind of angry
It is Choice Home Warranty. They are the worst. They almost always deny your claim. DO NOT USE!
They called and I didn't answer. I called them back and the person I talked to was telling me I went to their website for a quote when I didn't. He tried to tell me he wouldn't have called if I hadn't asked for an estimate from them. I told him, "Um, I think I would know if I had gone to your website and I most certainly didn't." He talked over me saying, "Byyyyyyyyyyye" and hung up on me. It was Choice Home Warranty. Screw them.
This number (and several others close to it) belong to CHOICE HOME WARRANTY. Once you inquire on their website about their home warranties, they will HOUND you for WEEKS. Yes, they call 3-5 times per day, but you gave them permission when you entered your information on their site. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with companies that operate a PRESSURE COOKER call center. Further, DO NOT ENTER ANY OF YOUR CONTACT INFO on their site, unless you are certain you want to be hounded for weeks on end. Finally, if you do want to purchase a home warranty, READ THE FINE PRINT of what they cover. For instance, CHOICE HOME WARRANTY does *NOT* cover the cost of FREON if they have to repair your refrigerator!!! SO WHAT GOOD IS THE WARRANTY??? (They also don't cover ANY repairs to ice makers in your kitchen freezer). READ THE FINE PRINT!!!
Where can I get a copy of "the fine print?" They are telling bad things of other companies, but I haven't been able to get anything on them. Thank you for the information and warning!
