I received a call a mans voice stating legal action is coming, I must return the call to settle this matter or suffer the results. then he said "Good Luck." (Rudely) He never said to you this message was for.
I receive about 6 calls daily. I finally called them back. they have my social security number, etc. Claim to collect debt, but could not answer what. I told them to NEVER call me again... just got 2 more calls.
Recorded message with no substantial information to indicate a serious debt collector.
trying to get you to agree and to pay on a debt. for me, the debt was with a company i never have done business with and for an amount that was very high ($10000). DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY.
Debt Collection firm using illegal tactics to vet you to send money. I don't owe anyone...

They called my cell phone, but never spoke with me. I have an app that sends scams and telemarketers to talk to a robot and it's recorded. I listened to the message and it was a poorly executed attempt of a scare tactic recording. Clearly some newb recorded it. I just blocked the number.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
