Received a call saying my Microsoft account is about is about to expire. The message goes on to say that they are going to charge me $199.99 unless I call back. I did not call back, as it sounds like a scam.

Voicemail left on my cell claimed my Microsoft account will be charged 199.99 if I do not cancel. I must call them to cancel. Funny I don’t pay for a Microsoft account in the first place.

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.
