Same here... They have called in the past saying they were from the State of Florida Business Development office and asking if we had found a new location... Since we were in the process of moving they took me by surprise. I only told them we had just moved, they kept asking if we were looking for a location and I told her, "what part of WE JUST MOVED don't you understand, and she hung up... When they called again a couple of days later I started to ask questions and they hung up on me so I figured it was a scam and I told them to remove my number and I would report them. They stopped and then today again now saying they are from the City of Doral Business Development. They had an old address and old company name that was closed years ago. I told them, NOT THEM AND DON'T CALL AGAIN!!!We'll see.... DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO! MOST DEFINITELY A SCAM... PHONE NUMBER NOT VALID WHEN YOU TRY CALLING BACK!!!!

This is a scam. They claim to be part of (whatever city you are located in) the Business Development agency. They will not remove you from their caller database. They are rude and interrupt you. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYINFORMATION.

This caller clled asking if our office had a found a new location yet. I said we had no plans to move and weren't looking for a new location then she hung up

They called asking if I was still interested in moving my location. When I said yes, they asked when, then when I said next year they asked which quarter and how many employees would be moving. When i answered only two employees the caller seemed surprised and thanked me and hung up.

This caller claimed to be from the Oregon Economic Development Office. When I told them there was no such office they began to argue with me and I hung up. They called back 5 times and continued to berate me. I hung up each time. If you get a call from them DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. They are information harvesters that will sell your company's information to hundreds of companies and put you on a list you will never get off of. What is wrong with this world? I'm so tired of deceptive and unethical business practices such as those conducted by this group of people.

Called saying they were from the BC Business Development office - asking to confirm that we were still at the address (she knew the address- anyone can see that online), then asked when we were moving & if we have found office space yet.I said we were not moving and had just renewed the lease.She said thanks and hung up.

The woman called saying they she was from the BC Business Development office - asking to confirm that we were still at the address- very rude!

This caller claimed to be from the Oregon Economic Development Office. Asked if we were planning on moving or had found a location.We've been getting these calls for the past 2 years now, I immediately told them that they need to stop harassing us and hung up. Called back 3 more times, one after another.I picked up on the 4th call, and the guy demanded to know why I hung up. I told him to stop harassing me. He said he won't stop harassing me and that he promises to keep calling and then hung up.Awesome.

She called saying she was from the State of California and asked if we were moving. They have called me before with a different number appearing on caller ID, but are still using the same scam line. I told her that I already knew about her scam and she assured me she really was with the State of California - but I knew differently. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. This is probably not their real number and they are probably using a caller ID spoofer.

He said Illinois Business Development office, asked about our moiving, and we are, but when he needed my full name "for their records" I told him that I was not comfortable giving my last name, said goodbye and hung up.
