Call me all the time saying they are with the Arizona Business Development Office, gave me a web site of azbdo.org, this web site is not valid, he then gave me a number to call back 800-917-1986, said his name was Patrick Wendz ext 221

Wanted to know info about our company. Was quite evasive when pushed.

I just received a call from the Washington Business Office. They wanted to know if my company had found a new location to move to or if we were still looking. I didn't catch the name of the person calling, but they claimned to be a manager. It sounded like a call center (lots of noise in the background). I was given the number 800-917-1986, x221.I called this number and an automated message claimed that menu options had changed then a spiel about a Bahamas cruise started. I got a hold of a live person and tried to explain the previous call I received. He hung up on me. I called back and talked to a woman with Carribean Cruise. She claimed that the 800 number I dialed was there's and no one would hang up on me.My company received a similar call several months ago asking if we found a location to move to or if we were still looking. They were very evasive and gave me a fax number when I asked for a phone number. I really have no idea what's going on.

I have received several calls over the last several months claiming to be with the Oregon State Business Office asking if we have moved. I have asked for call back numbers, website information, and their license number and have been given either an attitude, hung up on, or the questions had been ignored. The Executive Director of where I work at has called the State of Oregon Department of Commerce and Business Services (the real one) and they have no record of anybody calling about our business move, considering we had to apply for a new license when we moved almost a year ago.
