Interestingly, this number called within about five minutes of my reporting a cable outage (I have the dreaded 'triple play'--phone, internet, TV) to Comcast. The outage was strange; happened for no apparent reason, came on and off again briefly,then went off for a longer time. Used my cell to report to Comcast; during the call it came back on. Makes me wonder if someone is hacking into Comcast. Phone only rang three times; no message left.
Automated announcement message from the "US Department of Education". Hung up and reported to Verizon.
This call came on my cell phone which really bothers me. I use my cell exclusively for personal calls.
Unfamiliar number. Did not answer. Do not have personal contact with anyone in the 901 area code. Left no message.
Was on a work call when this number called my mobile phone. I have family in the Memphis area, so I was not shocked to see a 901 area code number. Called the number back (within 15 minutes) and received the famous three beeps followed by "this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service...." So, someone's number has been hacked!!!
