I just received a call from this number,which I did not recognize or answer.......No message! Caller I D shows TN

I just got a call 9 in the morning from that number

I got the same message from verizon. This number is no longer in service.

Have got several calls from this number. They never leave a message when I do not answer. When I do answer i say hello twice and they hang up. When i called it back it said welcome to Verizon Wireless the number you are trying to call has been changed or disconnected. I called back within minutes of it calling me.

Do not worry about the government hack that's been in the news; the Dept of Ed was not involved in any way, only government workers and their families and only a particular portion of them. But if your info had been hacked you would have received notice from the Office of Personnel Mgmt about it through snail mail.These jokers pretending to be from Dept of Ed or representing them in regards to student loans supposedly owed are making cold calls. They pick an area code and exchange and use a computer program to dial numbers - 212-234-0000, 212-234-0001, 212-234-0002, etc - to check which numbers are "live" then they call and give your their BS spiel. They were doing this in different areas long before the government hack took place and will continue long after.Unfortunately, they hide behind other numbers; the number showing on your caller id is not the number they are calling from. They change numbers about every two weeks. We get a call from a new number every other Wednesday. I just don't answer numbers I don't recognize, and these scammers rarely leave voicemail.It IS still important to leave reports on sites like this and to report them to the FCC whenever possible. If nothing else, it warns others not to answer these calls. And as you said, IF you do owe someone, it is important to have the correct contact info on them, and to keep in touch. No one wants a student loan turned over to a collection agency, who are as ruthless (if not more ruthless) than these scammers!

I did not answer it and have blocked it.

They left no message.

I received a call from this # 901-237-1519 more than once both home and cell

I am on the cell phone DO NOT CALL list. This is the second time someone from this number has called I will prosecute next time!!!

901-237-1519 - didn't answer, no message left. also received calls from this number on 5/5/15 same thing, didn't answer, they didn't leave message.
