Just got this call, in spanish. They said that I had won $1000, and to press 1. Then I hung up. No biggie.

Just got the call three or four time in less than a week, on my cell phone...didn't answer since i didn't know the number.
Hello Geyez,I agree. There got to be more to this, I just got this call myself and keep getting these call over and over again. I mean if this is a scam why would the scammers hang up? Unless they trying to get a database of numbers that actually respond. There are many reason a scammer would like an active database. One could be they could sell it to proprietary company or they have looking to see who has the most info on the internet. Now a day’s people are gullible enough to put their life story online. Whatever the reason I would advise people to not answer their phones if you don’t know who is calling, must lest pressing any numbers that gives them consent.
