By the name of Lisa Croft She called me consistently try to take my SSN over the phone. I know she sounds Asian INDIAN. I was laughing at her. She thought I gave her the right info. I was laughing behind the phone as she is thinking giving her my right info. I had great time laughinng behind her back. Beware everyone
Received a call today from S Singh about a job I applied for at 22nd Century. I never applied for a job so I asked if she was a recruiter. She said no. From reading these complaints, she lied. Also the connection was so bad I could barely hear what she was saying. Who knows where she was calling from. She told me about a job. I said I wasn't interested and blocked the number.
I got a few calls from this #, offering a job downtown Denver, did not ask me for any SS# or any other info, but they did have an Indian accent and gave an email addresss sandeepk@tscti.com where I submitted my resume to them.

I received a call from a woman with an India accent saying I applied for a job with UPS (which I am job hunting but did NOT apply to UPS). She also said she was calling from something Technologies. I told her that I did not apply for a job with UPS and she said "okay thank you" and hung up. I belicve they get your info from resumes posted online looking for jobs then they want more info. Since I've been posting to jobs online I get so many telemarketing calls now. I say go directly to the company website and never post to the pop up job searches.
I had the same offer! UPS job seems too good to be true for $14.00. Everything was fine until they asked for my Social Security #, I declined the offer. You are right no agency ever called and ask for your SS# over the phone.
It's obviously an attempt to get your SSN and banking information. Do what I did- call them until they pick up and then calmly tell that they will all soon be dead and buried in a cove near the mouth of the Quinnipiac River. You may not be get through to them after they start screening their calls afterwards.
These are head hunters calling about Jobs from NJ. So annoying, they have called me multiple times today alone. Just let it ring and they never leave a message
