I too just got a call from this number. I am on the "do not call" list. That list isn't worth being on as it has never stopped calls like this.

I am on the do not call list and continue to receive calls from this number.

Robo dialers program their dialing machines (a.k.a computers) to start at a number and dial every number after that. So, they could start at 200 200 0000 and dial to 999 999 9999 if they wanted to. (000 thru 199 are not dialable codes for you and me and they would exclude 211, 311, 411, 511, 611, 711, 811, and 911 which are special codes.) They don't care about any DNC list, they are just dialing XXX XXX 0000, 0001, 0002, etc. to 9999. If you give your credit info they win, even if you answer, they win, because they know your number is a valid number. Now they have part of your personal infomation. Also, they can use a PBX to fake the number, or call from the internet and fake the number. This poor 909 guy probably had to give up his number because it's no good any more. He is NOT the one making the calls. Would you make these calls and use your real number? Never, never trust the 'from' number on a call, unless you know the caller. Today's technology allows it to be easily faked.

Just got a call on my cell from this number, answered it and noone said anything, just hung up. I answered it thinking it may be a family member with a new number from the area code. I am also registered on the Do Not Call Registry (so much for that working)

keep receiving this call - something about interest rates - very annoying

Got the call and when I asked to be taken off the call list they hang up. When you call back you get an out of service message. Who needs this sh** when I do not have credit card balances?

Received call on cell phone; no message left despite 'Do not call' attached to phone number.
