I just got the same thing.. didn't answer but googled the number. Silent phone caller with no message left. A lot of this going on. Never give out your number to those scheming County fairs that want to work on your home improvements. Never do that again. Scold Them!!

These fools have called before. No message left either time. The number being used is reported as "Not in Service." People who don't use legitimate numbers should be avoided like the plague.

An unwanted call from this Colton cell number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, there was dead silence -- a strong sign of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who shamelessly prey on the public.The predator has been flagged as one of many scam contractors. That is why you should LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.

He introduced himself as David. I didn't catch his last name. He said he's a general contractor and wants to come give estimates. When I told him to stop calling me he got angry and started getting aggressive.

They call about 2 times a week. I picked up the call and they identified themselves as a construction company will be in your area in the next week doing estimates. I told them i didn’t have any work for them. They insisted that I might have something. I said nope. I keep ignoring their calls but one time I picked up and told them that I was 2 counties away and it would be waisteful for you to come for an estimate. They told me that they have people located where I live.

Did not leave message.

Called me (I'm on do not call registry), I said to put me on their do not call list, and I didn't want to hear from them. He got angry and said he would call me more often. Blocked him .. I wonder what he was expecting .. [***].

Expecting phone calls so need to pick up at the moment, even though I know a number starting with the letter V is a VOIP and 99% of the time is a scam. Pleasant gentleman asked for someone by name. I asked who was calling. Refused to give name and/or business. Asked again if I was "specific name" and I said no, but again asked who was calling. He again refused to give name/business. I told him to have a nice day and hung up. Will be blocking this number.
