Got a text from this number that said "Hello ;)" I searched online first before replying and saw this page. When I saw the people here saying it was some idiot trying to get money, I replied "Kill yourself." About 10 minutes later got the response "My names Brookes 24/female." Obviously a bot. I replied "You're in Dayton, how about I report your number to Dayton police? I know you're a bot but I heard mentioning the cops will make you shut up." This was based on what Ash, above, said. And as he claimed, the texts stopped. I guess the bot is programmed to stop responses when the word "police" or similar is used. So just text "police" back and it'll stop.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.
