Called.. all the way to Alaska. Never said a word. This company must have deep pockets to pay people just to make random calls but never actually Say anything. If they call back I will take the call and if they start talking, That's when I will hang up on them.

One of the best things I've ever done is convert our home number to Google Voice, which allows you to block an *unlimited* quantity of numbers. Now when we receive a call like this from an unknown number (which goes straight to voice mail unless they identify themselves), we mark the number as blocked. If they call again, they will get that phone-company-ish "The number you have dialed has been disconnected or is no longer in service" message. Forever. We now have no fear of giving our "home" number out, as only our known contacts are going to reach us. You can also set up calling rules, so that incoming calls do custom things, depending on who's calling. I love it.It is sad that other phone providers (such as Comcast digital voice, which we used to have) don't let you block an *unlimited* quantity of numbers. We live in the 21st century for crying out loud.

Just got a call @ 3:51pm, phone rang 3 times, I did not answer. Caller ID shows name as Unavailable

Yeah I don't understand the point of the call if they dont say anything.

First call from this number.Among all the reports here, none ever talked to anyone - even a machine.Probably a robo-caller via internet with a spoofed number.Makes me suspect that they are random dialing to build a list of phone numbers that people actually answer.Then they can sell the list.Scum.

answered phone said hello three times no one responded so I hung up

Received a call from this number. Hangup when I answered. Called the number ... says it is a disconnected number. Weird call ..... what possible use is this to anyone. How is this disconnected number made to show on caller ID?

937-859-7731 called and not recognizing the number I did not answer, called it back 10 minutes later and said it was disconnected. I know that bill collectors use a device that can spoof a telephone number and this is what I suspect. I just got this number and several calls for the previous deadbeat were collection agencies.

No response, hung up.

Same as other messages, call came in rang twice, nobody there when I pick up. Called back, recording is that this number is out of service. One thread says this is a Skype number and another says they used reverse look up to find a David Murphy. It can't be both.
