I got the same email from a Fredrick Miller fredrickmiller35@gmail.com. With the same email as the rest of you had received. I figured that this was a scam, but what I do to root out all scams is I tell them that I hold item until the payment checks out to be legit, and clears the bank. I tell them that if those two things happen then they can come and pick the item up, or I'll ship it out (if they paid for shipping). This always gets rid of the scammers. They know that their payment (check or MO) won't check out and that it's fake. Why waste time on dead horse? I usually don't hear back from them.If they are willing to wait for it to check out and clear, then it's a legit person who does want your item.
This same guy just got my mother for over $2,000.00. He is going by Edward Tay now. This was the e-mail that was sent to my mother. Does anyone have any info. on how we go about getting the money back or pressing charges, or just where we go from here?Hello ,How are you doing today? I'll like to inform you that I contacted my bank to confirm if your payment has been mailed out, I was made to understand that instead of the actual amount for the item, the bank made out a check for $2425. The payment has already been posted to you before I was informed, but its a little problem which we can handle amicably. However, I have rectified this with my Bank cause I wouldn't want this to delay the sales, all you have to do is that, once you have the payment, do take it to your Bank and have it cashed and you'll then deduct the money for your goods and in addition a $100 ( which is the cost of your running around). The excess fund on the payment will then be wired to my mover via western union that same day, so that my mover can come for pick up, as I've already planned on using the excess fund to offset the payment of the previous shipments that has been undertaken on my behalf. Do let me know if I can trust you to have the excess fund sent to my mover. Thank you and God bless you.Regards,Taylor
I read your message as regards Karen D. Yates. I have her phone numbers and email address including her residence address if you are looking for her so you can get your money back. She also scammed me of about 9000 dollars last month, though I got my money back after pressing charges. Please email me back on myemployee1960@gmail.com if you want her full information today. Email only for her information.

got the same message today; he forgot to sign a name, but his e-mail seems to indicate he is stonerichard@gmail.com. Does anyone know how/whether we report this scammer to craigslist or the authorities. The guy should google his phone number and get a clue.
I got the exact same email in response to a Craigslist ad. It seemed fishy from the start, especially when he said he was "hearing-in paired". Mine was from a stonerichard@gmail.com. Glad I checked it out!
I got the same email for a craigslist posting of mine but from a Ricardo Trapattoni. Same guy different name. I am not stupid enough to fall for that crap. Here was my response to him..I doubt he will return my message...We only accept cash and you would have to come pick it up and pay in person by CASH. I do not have a bank so I cannot cash a check. Please get back to me when you can come and pay me cash and pick it up. I will be waiting to hear from you. You need to buy it because you told me to take it off the list and I did, so you need to be here with the CASH as soon as possible.Thank YouJerk wads!
