Same thing here...was told that the Assistant mailed out the check and made the payment larger than required by adding payment for something else I had listed. He said to cash the check and keep our agreed amount and send the overage back to him. Very slick! I deleted it. Not sure if something is coming in the mail or not.

Told me they'd send me a $150 down payment to a ring I have for sale online. They kept acting real shady so I gave them a fake address, then went and looked them up. Not good, not good at all. SEVERAL reports of a scam operation.

I think this number just scammed me. It seemed about a ring I have on Facebook and various buy, sell trade sites. They texted me with shady behavior right off the bat. So I gave them a false actress, then looked them up. Every site I have went into, even yours says it IS NOT a safe number. I'm letting all the sites know that I thithink needs to know. Hopefully it help us from getting scammed.
